The Bible begins by showing that God is the Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16–17). He made the world and people in His image, giving us families, work, and purpose (Genesis 1:27). All creation was made to praise Him (Psalm 148). Though sin broke His perfect design, God had a plan from the beginning to send Jesus—through Him all things were made and will one day be made new. This four-week unit, In the Beginning, explores how creation reveals God’s power, goodness, and plan of salvation.

After God’s perfect creation, Adam and Eve’s disobedience brought sin, brokenness, and death into the world (Romans 3:23; 6:23). Sin spread through Cain and Abel and the people at Babel, yet God showed mercy—sparing Noah’s family and limiting rebellion. These stories reveal our greatest need: a Savior. In Jesus, God provides the rescue from sin and death we cannot earn. This four-week unit, The Fall, explores how sin damaged creation and how God’s grace shines through His plan to send Jesus.
